The Magellan Maestro 4370 is one of Magellan’s newest GPS models and it has a lot of popular features. The newest and most publicized feature of this Magellan GPS is the One Touch technology. This basically allows you to program 9 POIs into your GPS that will automatically route you to that destination with just one touch. This is convenient because it makes the 4 or 5 steps it normally takes to program a destination into just one step, saving you time and energy. It seems like a great feature, however it seems like a fancy name for the “Favorites” feature that is on most GPS models of the past couple of years.
Plan on travelling? The Magellan Maestro 4370 has maps of the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico! It is easy to use the Magellan Maestro 4370 because it tells you which street to turn on, which lane to be in, and it has 3D buildings on the maps of the GPS. So, no matter where you are, the Magellan Maestro 4370 makes it easy to reach your destination.
Worried about having trouble seeing the screen? That is a problem with some GPS models these days, but not with this one! The Magellan Maestro 4370 has a 4.3 inch wide screen making it easy to see all of your maps and directions.
If you want to make or answer a phone call while driving, you will not need to pick up your phone if it is Bluetooth compatible. The Magellan Maestro 4370 is compatible Bluetooth and therefore you can make and answer phone calls through your GPS. This makes talking on your phone while driving a safer experience because you have less distractions when you do not need to hold your phone.
Want to avoid traffic while driving? The Magellan Maestro 4370 includes LiveTraffic capability that will pick up any traffic that is on your way to the destination. You can then reroute your path so that you can miss the traffic!
Do you have AAA? If you do, you already know about the great travel books that AAA publishes and how useful they are when you go anywhere. Of course with the Magellan Magestro 4370, the AAA Tourbooks are included in the GPS. So your Magellan Maestro 4370 is basically your travel book and helps you find AAA recommended hotels, restaurants, and attractions! This could even help you find a new place by where you live now. The AAA capabilities are not only useful for finding new restaurants, hotels, and attractions - they are also helpful if you ever have any trouble when driving around. The Magellan Maestro 4370 includes the AAA roadside assistance feature that gives you the AAA phone number and the nearest AAA roadside assistance locations. No matter where you are or what happens, you can easily find help with a AAA subscription and the Magellan Maestro 4370.
Now, what about if you want to use the Magellan Maestro 4370 when walking around a big city or another unfamiliar territory? The Magellan Maestro 4370 has a pedestrian mode so you can use it to find POIs by foot-not only by car. The Magellan Maestro 4370 is also great for walking because it has a rechargeable 4 hour life battery which is perfect for a day of walking around a new area.
The Magellan Maestro 4370 has a built in FM Transmitter that allows you to hear all of the directions to your destination through your radio speakers.
Since the Magellan Maestro 4370 also stores your favorite MP3’s, you can listen to them through your car’s speakers using the builtin FM Transmitter.
Cons of the Magellan Maestro 4370
It is only sold at Best Buy, so its harder to shop around for this product. If you want a small GPS, this one is not small. It is not compatible with all phones for the Bluetooth compatibility, so you need to look at the chart on their website to see if yours is compatible.
Overall the Magellan Maestro 4370 has a lot of great features and it is low priced between $299 and $399. What do you think? Leave a Comment!

I just purchased the 4370 a week ago and used it for a trip to NJ, and it works great for the most part and it has great features. I am having problems with my Motorola phone, sounds like the compatibility issue mentioned in this review. I also had the app hang on me 2x already [required power cycle]. The 3rd problem has to do with some funny routes it had me take in areas I already know well. Would like to see more reviews
